Summer Princesses

Every year, my senior reps get to participate in at least one concept shoot. These are so much fun, and give the girls a chance to do something that they normally wouldn’t do. I have ALWAYS wanted to do a Disney Princess shoot, but wasn’t sure that I could do it justice. I brought up the idea of doing a Disney Princess shoot with a modern twist to my reps, they were all for it! Since all of my reps wanted to participate in the shoot, I decided to do a summer, fall, and winter Disney Princess Concept shoot.

For my concept shoots, I collaborate with other local businesses for hair styling, professional make-up, and outfit/accessory styling. For the summer princess shoot, Olivieri’s Salon and Spa did hair, Faces by Laura did make-up, and Kittsona did all of the outfit/accessory styling. We each plan our part of the shoot, and have complete creative reigns! Please note that art is completely subjective and these photos are just OUR take on modern Disney Princesses. I am so in love with how it all came together, and I LOVE working with these other local artists to create something so unique.

In this shoot, I have my girls representing Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, and Tinkerbell.
